A Little Bit About Jeff:
In 1972 Jeff graduated from the State University of New York at
Oneonta with a B.S. in Education. After graduation, while working as an
assistant Manager for Lafayette Radio in New York City, Jeff attended
NYU seeking a Master's in P.E. In 1974 his chance came to apply his
teaching education. He was offered a position at a Brooklyn "600" school
working with socially maladjusted and incorrigible teenage boys.
Jeff loved the challenge that these troubled kids presented and felt
like the father they didn't have. It was very dangerous but rewarding
work. Special Ed. became Jeff's passion and he decided that this would
be the path he would follow. Two years later he was offered a position
with the Aurora Public Schools working with the districts emotionally
disturbed teens.
Bye-bye Big Apple. Hello Mile High!
Jeff started selling real estate part-time while he was a full-time
Special Education teacher in the Aurora Public Schools..
In his second year as a Realtor, still only part-time, Jeff was awarded
"Top Salesperson of the Year" from Guardian Realty.
In 1979 facing the difficulty of spreading his time between two wonderful
professions, he needed to make a choice, It was a very difficult one
for him. Jeff was encouraged by his office manager to devote himself
exclusively to Real Estate. With much trepidation and the guilt that
this was not what his father would have wanted for him, he left teaching
behind. Shortly thereafter, looking for a larger company to affiliate
with, Jeff joined U.S. Home / Witkin Realty. He was only with the company
for 1 year, but ranked 5th in sales in an organization of over 100 agents.
In early 1980, continuing the desire to improve upon the service that
he could provide to his growing clientele, Jeff joined the company that,
at the time, many felt was comprised of a bunch of real estate
mavericks. A new company that was quickly gaining notoriety because of
the non-traditional method by which it's agents conducted their business
operations. This company was Re/max.
Although a rookie with Re/max, Jeff became the Top Salesperson of the
Year at Re/max West in 1980 and has continually won numerous top sales
awards in the years to follow.
In 1988 Jeff was one of the first agents inducted into the Re/max Hall
of Fame. A distinction, that to this day, Jeff is very proud of.
In April of 2007 now joined by his two daughters Melissa and Brooke,
The Fogler Team has formed it's own company called Signature Brokers.
The company will grow with brokers who believe in the same principals
and work ethic that Jeff has attributes to his personal success.
Jeff cares very much about the welfare of his clients, and strives
to make them happy. In fact nothing is more important to him then knowing
his clients are pleased with his work. He appreciates the trust and
responsibility they put in him. Selling or buying a home can be a very
stressful time. For many it's the biggest commitment they'll ever make.
He wants the experience to be positive and enjoyable from start to finish.
As you can tell from his website he's definitely not the starchy corporate
type. Creativity and originality are highly important to him. But most
important, he hopes he is the kind of person that you'd want to be friends
with outside of the business relationship.
